2016 NFL Draft results: Will Parks drafted by the Denver Broncos in the 6th round
The hard-hitting safety will get a shot with the defending Super Bowl Champs
It was interesting to see Will Parks' name come up more and more throughout the NFL Draft process. It made people wonder if Parks would hear his name called during the actual NFL Draft. And it turns out, he did, being selected by the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos in the sixth round (No. 219 overall).
With Scooby Wright out for most of the 2015 season, Parks led the Arizona Wildcats in tackles, totaling 76 in 13 games, seven of those for loss.
In between his final game, which was the New Mexico Bowl against his brother, and the NFL Draft, Parks bulked up big-time. Already a hard-hitter in the Wildcats' secondary, he added a lot of muscle mass, allowing him to bench 225 pounds 21 times at Arizona's Pro Day.
Good luck to Will as he pursues his dream of being an NFL player. Hopefully he'll be able to lock down a roster spot with the Broncos.
