Arizona football recruiting: 3-star running back Tyliek Raynor decommits

Another decommit for Arizona, the third in the last eight days

For the third time in eight days, the Arizona Wildcats have lost the commitment of a recruit. This time, it's Tyliek Raynor, 3-star running back out of Philadelphia, PA. Devon Modster decommitted on New Years Eve, and Kapri Doucet just days after committing, due to the firing of Jeff Casteel. Raynor was ranked 50th among all running backs in the 2016 recruiting class

This one comes as a bit of a surprise. Arizona had four running backs in this class, but he seemed to be one of the most stable on his commitment. Sean Riley seems to be flirting with the idea of Utah, should they get back on his recruitment. JJ Taylor blew up during his senior year, and I felt like he could have left if better schools started giving him looks.

Arizona now has 15 commits for the class of 2016 and fall to 48th in the national rankings according to 247Sports.

Arizona has been offering a few other running backs and athletes, some of which 2017 recruits. It could be that the staff told him they were pursuing other running backs, possibly on the verge of landing another one. I'll be publishing a recruiting round up this weekend, where I'll go more in-depth on those offers and Raynor's decommitment, so stay tuned for that.
