Sonoran Hot Reads: New Mexico Bowl not as exciting as College Football Playoff

With the coaching drama behind us, the focus for the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday turned to the bowl selection process. And while Arizona was the final Pac-12 team announced, it surprised no one that it ended up being the New Mexico Bowl, against New Mexico. This is not a very intriguing matchup according to Yahoo, as they have it 34th out of the 40 bowl games. The Arizona Bowl is 39th. Only Georgia State/San Jose State is worse

- Speaking of the Arizona Bowl, it has two Mountain West teams, and the MW commissioner is not pleased, calling the situation "a travesty"

- You can watch what Greg Byrne and Rich Rodriguez had to say about the South Carolina situation on Sunday. The Sports Guys stayed after up at El Conquistador to talk about the move for RichRod to stay. Rivera also wrote this after everything that transpired over the weekend
