Arizona football injury report: Anu Solomon questionable for Wildcats heading into Territorial Cup
Arizona's QB has another injury heading into the ASU game.
Last year, it was unclear whether the Arizona Wildcats would have their starting quarterback for the Territorial Cup.
This year, it's more of the same, as Anu Solomon suffered a concussion on Saturday against the Utah Utes.
Here's the full injury report heading into this weekend's game with the Arizona State Sun Devils:
Probable: None
Questionable: Anu Solomon (concussion)
Doubtful: None
Out: Scooby Wright III (foot), Freddie Tagaloa (knee), Derrick Turituri (hip), Jake Matthews (foot)
As we reported on Monday, Jake Matthews is scheduled to have surgery on Friday to determine the full extent of the foot injury he suffered late in the fourth quarter on Saturday.
Along the offensive line, Tagaloa being out again likely means another start for Gerhard de Beer, who has essentially only been playing guard for two-plus weeks now.
It'll be interesting to see how Solomon responds to treatment and the bus ride up to Tempe this weekend to determine whether or not he can give it a go. The offense kind of struggled a bit after Solomon was taken out against Utah, with the exception of the touchdown pass in overtime.
