Arizona basketball: Ray Smith reportedly tears ACL
A tough loss for the Arizona freshman
Incoming freshman Ray Smith had just recovered from a torn ACL, but reports are the new Arizona Wildcats forward has torn his other ACL just a couple of weeks prior to the season starting.
Arizona freshman forward Ray Smith will miss this season with a torn ACL. It is on a different knee than the previous tear.

He tore his right ACL during a practice this week. Smith tore his left one last summer. The freshman had been impressing in practice, and seemed like a major threat to earn a starting spot when the season started. He will now miss the entire 2015-16 season.
Thoughts are with Smith right now, and we will have more as soon as more info becomes available.
