Arizona basketball: Kyle Fogg makes the semifinals of The Tournament

Hey, remember that basketball tournament for a million dollars? Kyle Fogg is still in it.

About a month ago, we told you about "The Tournament," a million dollar basketball tournament. We mentioned some former Arizona players would be playing, including Mark Lyons, Kyle Fogg, and Hassan Adams.

Well, The Tournament is now down to four teams, and while Hassan Adams' LAUNFD and Mark Lyons' Armored Athlete both lost in the quarterfinals, Kyle Fogg's Overseas Elite are still alive with only four teams remaining. Fogg is playing alongside Myck Kabongo, Travis Bader, and Errick McCollum. If Overseas Elite wins The Tournament, Fogg will take home $90,000. That's not too shabby. Fogg is the only Arizona alumnus left, but not the only player with Arizona connections, as Arizona State's Tommy Smith is on fellow semifinalist Ants Alumni.

Overseas Elite will take on Team City of Gods (headlined by former lottery picks Michael Sweetney and Dermarr Johnson) Saturday at 4:00 PM ET on ESPN. If they win, the finals will be Sunday on ESPN at 3:00 PM ET. You can stream it all on Watch ESPN.

Fogg has had a lot of success playing professionally in Europe, but it'd be nice to see him do well on a national stage on American soil. Let's hope Overseas Elite is able to pull out a win.
