Report: Austin Hill to sign with the New York Jets, again
Austin Hill is headed back to the Big Apple for a second opportunity with the Jets
Austin Hill continues make his way around the NFL. Right after the NFL Draft ended, he was reportedly headed to the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.
It turns out Hill failed his physical with the Seahawks, so he signed with the New York Jets for rookie minicamp. He apparently didn't impress the Jets, as they went in another direction, which then led Hill to sign with the Oakland Raiders. He was a Raider for about two weeks, and then was waived on May 28th.
Hill has been off the radar since then, but according to Manish Mehta from the New York Daily News, the Jets have decided to bring the former Arizona wideout back for another go-around:
Jets are signing former University of Arizona WR Austin Hill, per source. Hill participated in Jets rookie minicamp. (With Raiders too).

At this point, Hill may be nothing more than a training camp body. He'll need to standout in both training camp and preseason to have a shot of making the team.
Hill was once a pretty highly-ranked wide receiver prospect after racking up nearly 1,400 yards and 11 TD's in his sophomore season. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL before his junior year, and he never returned to his previous form.
Hopefully he can now.
