Arizona offers wide receiver Brad Hawkins and defensive tackle Alexis Johnson
Two offers to end the month of May
Things are going to start to pick up for the Arizona coaching staff, with the summer time being their big recruiting season. The Wildcats ended the month of May offering two prospects, a top high school receiver from across the country and a JUCO product on the defensive line.
Brad Hawkins is a 4-star receiver out of Camden High School (Camden, NJ). At 6-2 190lbs, Hawkins is ranked as the No. 26 receiver in the nation, no. 144 in the nation regardless of position. He holds offers to most of the top power conference schools, with Michigan, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and South Carolina as the top schools recruiting him.

Hawkins caught 51 passes for 748 yards and 11 touchdowns, and also rushed the ball 39 times for 255 yards and two touchdowns. And he played up top at safety for Camden, recording 40 tackles and three interceptions. He's grabbed the attention of the Pac-12, with Arizona State being the first school from the conference to offer him back in April with Oregon following a few weeks later. His junior year highlights are below.
Alexis Johnson, defensive tackle out of Fort Scott Community College (Fort Scott, Kansas), is another guy recently offered by the Arizona coaching staff. At 6-4 295lbs, he holds offers to Baylor, Louisville, and NC State, among others. He was offered by Tennessee just a few days ago, and says that he plans to visit soon. He is not currently ranked by 247Sports, Rivals or Scout.

It's clear that Rich Rodriguez is searching for another defensive lineman in 2016 to go along with Salpointe's Justin Holt. There's already been Cameron Murray, Jay Tufele, and Greg Rogers in the mix, Boss Tagaloa keeping Arizona in his top 12, as well as the staff reaching out to 3-star defensive end Evan Weaver. Rich Rodriguez has also been hitting the junior colleges up, looking for more developed talent to help strengthen the defense. Johnson's highlights from Fort Scott are below.
