T.J. McConnell works out for the Spurs and Sixers
T.J. continues to make his way around the NBA
Just a few days after T.J. McConnell worked out for the Los Angeles Lakers, the point guard worked out for the Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs:

Talk about two organizations that are at the complete opposite of the spectrum right now. The Sixers are in the midst of an extreme rebuild. A team that has been "tanking" for the past two years for better draft picks. While that may not sound like a great situation to play in, for a prospective rookie like McConnell it could be a blessing. He could get more minutes than a rookie normally would.
The Spurs on the other hand, are an annual title contender. It's doubtful that T.J. would get many minutes if he were to play for San Antonio, but getting to grow in and experience the Spurs' winning culture is invaluable.
I'm probably getting a little too ahead of myself though, as the NBA Draft is still about a month away, and T.J. might have workouts with every team by then.
