It appears the Magic has worn off.
Orlando was blown out by the Bucks 121-107 on Saturday as Milwaukee grabbed a 2-1 series lead after surprisingly dropping the opener on Tuesday.
The Magic were once again without Aaron Gordon, who has yet to make his postseason debut as he continue to battle a strained left hamstring.
The good news is Magic head coach Steve Clifford told reporters that Gordon “is doing a lot better.”
“He just wouldn’t be able to get up and down the floor, frankly,” he said. “He’s made good progress and he’ll do his work today and tomorrow and then we’re hoping maybe there’s a chance (he can play) by Monday.”
With Gordon, their best wing defender, the Magic have gotten eviscerated by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 35 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists on 12-of-14 shooting.
What’s next?
Game 4 of the best-of-seven-series is set for Monday at 10:30 a.m. MST on NBATV.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Stanley Johnson and the Raptors will look to sweep the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday at 3:30 MST on ESPN.
Andre Iguodala, Solomon Hill and the Miami Heat currently hold a 74-56 halftime lead on T.J. McConnell and the Indiana Pacers as they look to take a 3-0 series lead.
Game 4 of that series is set for Monday at 3:30 p.m. MST on TNT.
What they’re saying about Aaron Gordon on social media
I wonder how much would Aaron Gordon change this series if he was healthy

Magic building a mansion with all their bricks right now. Bucks defense have suffocated them. Magic could use Aaron Gordon to help Vuc out.

Giannis is wayyy too strong for any of our wings. I'm excited to see if Aaron Gordon can do anything with him if he gets healthy.

It would have been really fun to see what Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Isaac would have done against Giannis.

Aaron Gordon, Michael Carter-Williams and Wes Iwundu could be heard cheering all the way up here at my vantage point when Nikola Vucevic sank a 3 on Orlando's first possession.
