The Arizona Wildcats continue to make headway on the recruiting trail, with 21 commits for the 2021 class after starting off slow. And now they’ve made the cut for two more key targets who narrowed their choices on Sunday.
The UA is among the final six schools for Cameron Bonner, a 3-star wide receiver from Houston, and the final eight for Velltray Jefferson, a 3-star athlete from Fresno.
Checking in at 5-foot-11 and 173 pounds, Bonner is ranked as the 640th player nationally, 102nd wide receiver, and 90th player in Texas per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Along with Arizona, he has Texas A&M, Utah, Illinois, Pittsburgh and Houston among his finalist.
