Pinder, an Australian native, played the last two seasons with Polish team Legia Warswaza, where he averaged 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in the 2019-2020 season.
Pinder is expected to back up ex-Kentucky big man Isaac Humphries and ex-Pepperdine forward Daniel Johnson.
Former Arizona guard Daniel Dillon (2004-08) also plays for the 36ers, having joined the team in 2019. Last season, the 34-year-old averaged 3.5 points for Adelaide, who missed the postseason for the second year in a row.
In his two years at Arizona, Pinder was known for his defense and rebounding. He began his college career at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas.
