With the addition of Lithuanian twins Azuolas and Tautvilas Tubelis to the 2020-21 roster, the Arizona Wildcats have exceeded their scholarship limit for next season by one.

The NCAA allots 13 scholarship spots for Division I men’s basketball teams, while Arizona has 14 players on board (five returners, two transfers and seven incomers).

  1. C Christian Koloko (So.)
  2. F/C Daniel Batcho (Fr.)
  3. F Ira Lee (Sr.)
  4. F Jordan Brown (Jr.)
  5. F Tibet Gorener (Fr.)
  6. F Azuolas Tubelis (Fr.)
  7. F Tautvilas Tubelis (Fr.)
  8. G/F Benedict Mathurin (Fr.)
  9. G/F Dalen Terry (Fr.)
  10. G Jemarl Baker Jr. (Jr.)
  11. G James Akinjo (Jr.)
  12. G Terrell Brown Jr. (Sr.)
  13. G Kerr Kriisa (Fr.)
  14. G Brandon Williams (Rs So.)

Miller offered the Tubelis twins scholarships knowing that one player would have to exit the program. The odd man out is most likely Brandon Williams, who indicated earlier this month that he could spend next season elsewhere, whether that be at another school or in the pros.

Assuming that no other players leave before the fall, Arizona would enter the season with the maximum of 13 scholarships filled. With only two players set to graduate next spring and no sure one-and-dones on the team, the Wildcats could head into next offseason with considerably less turnover than in previous years.
