If you are one of those people who hopes the Arizona Wildcats stop recruiting five-star prospects and start focusing on three- and four-star recruits, you are going to like this.

On Tuesday, the Wildcats became latest program to offer three-star point guard Angelo Brizzi. The 6-foot-3 Warrenton, Virginia native is the No. 139 player in the 2021 class and No. 25 point guard, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Brizzi also has offers from Cal, Colorado, Georgetown, Michigan, Marquette, Villanova, Virginia Tech and others. He is only the second three-star recruit Arizona has offered in this cycle, the other being Harrison Horney, a 6-foot-9 center from Mater Dei.

Per Prep Hoops, Brizzi is “a natural scorer that can get it done both on and off the basketball, Brizzi can fill it up in bunches and get hot very quickly. He has in the gym range, he handles it well and can create space off the bounce, he has a good IQ and good vision, he’s a clutch guy who wants to take the big shot and he finds his way to the line often. However, he isn’t just a guy who scores it, as he has good instincts and gives great effort on both ends as well.”

Brizzi also appears to be a Nico Mannion fan:
