Arizona to have red-out for Pac-12 opener vs. ASU

If you are planning to attend the Arizona Wildcats’ Pac-12 opener vs. ASU next Saturday, the UA athletic department has a request for you.
Wear red—and not that dark red/maroon that the Sun Devils don. No exceptions.
Please dress accordingly next Saturday in McKale! #RedOut #BearDown #APlayersProgram pic.twitter.com/WY8ZYWF8WI

It’s a big game even though both teams have been struggling lately. Arizona (10-3) has lost two straight and three of its last four, nearly falling out of the AP Poll. The Sun Devils (9-4) beat Texas Southern on Saturday to snap a two-game losing streak, but lost star center Romello White to an ankle injury in the process.
But, as usual, bragging rights are at stake and Arizona has some revenge to get after the Sun Devils swept the Wildcats last season for the first time in a decade (albeit most of Arizona’s current roster did not play in those games).
No word if the Wildcats will wear red uniforms to match the crowd, though the graphic that was tweeted out suggests they will wear their usual whites. The women’s team wears red when the Sun Devils come to town and, in my opinion, the men’s team would be wise to follow their lead:
