Three-star tight end Drake Dabney decommitted from the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday, announcing the news with a short statement on Twitter.
“Thank you to the coaching staff for believing in me and for offering me an opportunity to be a part of their program,” he wrote. “I wish the Arizona family the best.”

Dabney was Arizona’s highest-ranked commit per 247Sports, checking in as the No. 636 player in the 2020 class, No. 25 tight end, and No. 83 player in the state of Texas.
The Cypress, Texas native committed to Arizona in late June and took his official visit in late September. Dabney has 28 offers, including a ton from Power 5 schools like Arizona State, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Utah, South Carolina, and Minnesota.
