4-star forward Puff Johnson lists Arizona in Top 7

Four-star forward Donovan ‘Puff’ Johnson listed the Arizona Wildcats in his Top 7 on Saturday along with the Ohio State Buckeyes, Louisville Cardinals, North Carolina Tar Heels, Miami Hurricanes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Pittsburgh Panthers, according to StockRisers.com.

The 6-foot-7 forward is the No. 49 player in the 2020 class and No. 1 player in Pennsylvania, according to 247Sports composite rankings. He will not be reclassifying to 2019.

Arizona is viewed as the favorite for Johnson, accounting for four of the five Crystal Ball predictions that have been submitted.

Johnson told StockRisers that Arizona has “amazing spirit and atmosphere, and Coach (Sean Miller) played with my dad (at Pittsburgh).”

Johnson’s older brother, Cameron, who attended Pitt and North Carolina, was a first-round draft pick of the Phoenix Suns in June, fueling speculation that Puff would follow his brother to the desert.
