Arizona offers Salpointe offensive lineman Bruno Fina
Fina’s father, John, attended the UA
The Arizona Wildcats have put an emphasis on recruiting their home state ever since Kevin Sumlin took over the program, but they were a little late to the party for local lineman Bruno Fina.
The Wildcats offered the Salpointe Catholic product Monday, roughly one week from when he received offers from the UCLA Bruins and the USC Trojans.
Proud to say I was offered to play football in my hometown at the University of Arizona!! Thanks to @CoachSumlin and @CoachDeVan #beardown‼️ pic.twitter.com/oEZX7Q2Omu

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound guard is a three-star prospect in 247Sports’ 2020 composite rankings.
Fina’s father, John, was an all-conference offensive lineman and co-captain at the UA in 1991, before being picked by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He spent 10 seasons with the Bills, with whom he played in two Super Bowls and started 131 games.
John Fina then wrapped up his career with a one-year stint with the Arizona Cardinals in 2002. He was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame that same year.
