Report: Brandon Williams to play Sunday night vs. Stanford
Injuries have played a big part in how the Arizona Wildcats’ season has gone to this point. But with four games left in the regular season, they’re getting as close to 100 percent as possible for a team that has played all year with a short roster.
According to Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star, freshman guard Brandon Williams is going to return to action Sunday night at home against the Stanford Cardinal (pardon the spelling error in the below tweet).

A starter most of the season, Williams is set to come off the bench after missing the past six games because pain in his right knee, which he had surgery on during high school. The pain is a byproduct of a congenital issue and it caused him to miss his junior season at the prep level.
Arizona has sorely missed Williams, who scored 19 points at UCLA in his last game before getting shut down and for the season was averaging 12.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Williams remains the Wildcats’ top scorer in Pac-12 play, at 13.6 per game.
