Parker Jackson-Cartwright acquired by Westchester Knicks

PJC joins former Arizona teammates Allonzo Trier and Kadeem Allen in the New York Knicks organization

Former Arizona Wildcats point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright has been acquired by the Westchester Knicks from the available player pool, the team announced Monday.

Westchester is the New York Knicks’ G League affiliate.

In October, Jackson-Cartwright was selected by the Raptors 905 in the second round of the G League Draft, but never played for the team.

Jackson-Cartwright joins former Arizona teammates Kadeem Allen and Allonzo Trier in the Knicks’ organization.

Allen is on a two-way contract — meaning he shuttles between the G League and NBA — and has appeared in 32 games with the Westchester Knicks, averaging 14.7 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.3 rebounds on 45 percent shooting. However, Allen has mostly been playing for New York recently, averaging 20.7 minutes across seven games for the tanking Knicks.

Trier was on a two-way contract to begin the season, before signing a multi-year pact with New York after bursting onto the scene. The undrafted rookie is averaging 10.0 points per game.
