Defensive tackle Kurtis Brown transferring from Arizona
Sophomore defensive tackle Kurtis Brown is leaving the Arizona Wildcats after two seasons, he announced late Monday on Twitter:
Thank you Arizona! Time to get what’s mine⏳ pic.twitter.com/sKbY3uwCHC

The 6-foot-1, 291-pound Brown appeared in just two games for Arizona in 2018, registering an assisted tackle against Houston and no stats against Southern Utah. He had eight tackles, two for loss, and a sack in 10 games as a true freshman.
A 3-star prospect in the 2017 recruiting class, Brown would have faced an uphill battle for playing time next season with Arizona adding three defensive linemen last week including a pair of junior college defensive tackles in Trevon Mason and Myles Tapusoa.
Brown is the second Arizona player to announce his transfer since the 2018 season ended. Nathan Eldridge, who missed all of last year with a knee injury after starting at center for the previous two seasons, is leaving for Oregon State.
