Watch Rhett Rodriguez’s first career TD pass
It’s a beaut
The Arizona Wildcats did not have a great Friday night in Salt Lake City.
One bright spot though was Rhett Rodriguez’s performance at quarterback.
The son of former Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez was the third quarterback used by Kevin Sumlin against the Utah Utes, but wound up being the most effective.
It also resulted in his first career TD pass:

It will be interesting to see if Rodriguez is the quarterback of choice moving forward considering Khalil Tate’s lingering ankle injury that just seems to get worse each week. RhettRod was 20-for-38 through the air for 226 yards on the night.
