4-star wing Terry Armstrong commits to Arizona

The Wildcats have their fourth 2019 commit

The Arizona Wildcats have quickly assembled a recruiting class as powerful as any in the country.

Four-star guard Terry Armstrong committed to the UA on Wednesday, the school’s fourth 2019 commit, all of them pledging within the last two months.

Arizona’s class now ranks No. 2 in the country, per 247Sports. Armstrong’s other finalists were New Mexico and Oklahoma.

A 6-foot-6 wing, Armstrong is the No. 57 player in the country, No. 5 shooting guard and No. 2 player in Arizona, only behind fellow UA commit Nico Mannion, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Originally from Michigan, Armstrong attends Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona. He officially visited the UA on the weekend of Oct. 5

With him, Mannion, and Josh Green coming in next season and Brandon Randolph, Brandon Williams, Devonaire Doutrive, Alex Barcello, and Dylan Smith potentially returning, the Wildcats will have a glut of guards and wings in 2019-20.

Arizona head coach Sean Miller said earlier in the month that Arizona expects to sign five or six prospects in the 2019 class, so at least one or two commits should still be added by the end of the recruiting cycle, though you wonder if Omar Thielemans’ recent departure changes the math there.

One thing is for sure: Arizona recruiting is back — and maybe better than ever.

Here are nearly 17 minutes of Armstrong highlights to revel in:
