Kyle Fogg scores 38, Overseas Elite advances to The Basketball Tournament championship game again
Overseas Elite will go for its fourth straight title on Friday
When it comes to The Basketball Tournament, Kyle Fogg and Overseas Elite are basically Michael Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls.
Fogg and the three-time defending champion Overseas Elite routed the Golden Eagles (Marquette Alumni) 85-60 on Thursday to advance to TBT Finals for the fourth straight year.
Fogg, who’s been the MVP of the tournament two straight years, finished with 38 points on 12-of-15 shooting, including a step-back 3 to end the first half.

Overseas Elite will take on Team Fredette or Eberlein Drive in the title game Friday, with $2 million at stake.
Overseas Elite has won $5 million in prize money the last three years, which is divided evenly among the team’s players. This year, each championship player will pocket about $147,00.
In 2015, Fogg used his earnings from the tournament to help buy his mother a house, in 2016, he used his earnings to help furnish that house, and in 2017 he donated some of his winning to support ALS research.
Fogg played for the Chinese Basketball Association’s Guangzhou Long-Lions last season after signing a two-year, $4 million pact with the club last summer.
The former Arizona Wildcat averaged a ridiculous 35.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game with a shooting line of .454/.393/.851.
An overseas elite, indeed.
