Arizona target Nico Mannion expected to narrow finalists Wednesday
The 5-star point guard is currently down to 10 schools
On Friday, Nico Mannion made a “huge announcement” when he declared that he is reclassifying from 2020 to 2019.
Another “huge announcement” is coming Wednesday at the Under Armour Finals in Las Vegas, according to Ryan Silver of West Coast Elite Basketball.

Finals in Las Vegas.
Mannion is expected to trim his list of finalists. He is currently down to 10 schools — Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Villanova, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Utah, Marquette, and Vanderbilt.
If you ask the experts that submit Crystal Ball predictions, Arizona is the overwhelming favorite. Meanwhile, recruiting guru Evan Daniels believes Mannion’s recruitment will come down to Arizona and Duke.
The 6-foot-3 point guard has seen his stock rise recently, now ranking as the No. 17 player in the 2019 class, per 247sports composite rankings.
Arizona is also after Mannion’s teammate Josh Green, a small forward who is the No. 11 player in the 2019 class.
The Wildcats are still searching for their first commit, but landing those two would be a heck of coup.
