Oregon State vs. Arizona injury reports

The Wildcats’ injury report is interesting this week

The Arizona Wildcats enter Saturday’s game vs. the Oregon State Beavers with a unique looking injury report.

Only three players are listed but ... all three have the same surname.

Check it out:

Probable: WR Shun Brown (foot)

Questionable: DL Kurtis Brown (concussion)

Doubtful: None

Out: DE/LB JB Brown

The good news is the best Brown, Shun, is likely to play. The junior leads Arizona in receptions (32) and receiving touchdowns (5), and is tied with Bryce Wolma for the team-lead in receiving yards (431)

Not on the injury report is Nick Wilson, which is nice to see since Saturday is his last home game.

The senior running back has been limited the last few weeks with an ankle injury, but he is expected to start Saturday.

While Kurtis and JB Brown may miss Saturday’s game, Arizona’s defense appears to be the healthiest it’s been for a while.

Oregon State can’t say the same. Here is the Beavers’ injury report:

Probable: K Jordan Choukair, CB Isaiah Dunn, LB Manase Hungalu, CB Jay Irvine

Questionable: WR Tino Allen, WR Trevon Bradford, S Landry Payne, RB Thomas Tyner, CB Shawn Wilson

Doubtful: None

Out: WR Seth Collins, CB Xavier Crawford, CB Jaydon Grant, S Austin Hudson, LB Nick Janakes, S Drew Kell, QB Jake Luton, K Zach Standish, LB Shemiah Unutoa-Whitson, CB Dwayne Williams

The Beavers will also be without Bright Ugwoegbu (targeting suspension) in the first half.

The junior linebacker is fifth on OSU in tackles and our friends at Building The Dam tell us he is “probably” the Beavers’ best pass rusher — tough break for an Oregon State team still searching for its first Pac-12 win.

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. MST and it will be broadcast on ESPN2.
