Bol Bol eliminates Arizona and USC from consideration amid FBI investigation
Another top-10 prospect drops Arizona
The Arizona Wildcats continue to take a hit on the recruiting trail.
Five-star center Bol Bol announced that he’s dropped Arizona and USC from consideration following those schools’ involvement in a recruiting bribery scandal.
No. 4 prospect Bol Bol said he's down to Kentucky and Oregon. Visits Kentucky next week, visited Oregon last week. Arizona and USC out.

"Some of the schools were under investigation. I just didn't really want to be a part of that,” Bol said via ESPN.
Bol, the top center in 2018, will now choose between the Oregon Ducks and Kentucky Wildcats.
The 7-foot-3 giant was scheduled to take an official visit to Arizona on Oct. 28, and he’s just the latest top-10 prospect to remove the Wildcats from his recruitment.
No. 1 prospect R.J. Barrett, No. 8 prospect Simi Shittu, and No. 9 prospect Nassir Little all eliminated Arizona from consideration after the FBI’s investigation went public.
Arizona were widely believed to be the favorites to land Little and Bol at one point. Little recently committed to North Carolina.
The Wildcats’ 2018 class is still intact (for now), as Brandon Williams, Shareef O’Neal, and Jahvon Quinerly have not decommited yet, but the rate they’re losing out on other prospects is alarming.
Plus, O’Neal has been linked to Kentucky and Quinerly, though he said he is still committed to Arizona, has an uncertain future in college basketball since he is believed to have received payments from Arizona, as outlined in a federal complaint.
So while Arizona’s 2018 class once had the makings to be the school’s best class ever, it’s in limbo for now.
Sean Miller said Thursday that he’s “not sure” if Arizona will sign two or three players in November as originally planned.
