VIDEO: Chuck Cecil discusses return to Arizona Wildcats football team

Cecil is happy to be back in Tucson

Chuck Cecil spoke to the media Friday, his first public appearance since being hired by the Arizona Wildcats as the new Director of Player Development.

Cecil, who played safety at Arizona from 1984-1987, is considered one of the program’s best players of all-time.

Cecil is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and was an All-American in 1987 as well as the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year.

He currently holds the school record for career interceptions, tallying 21 in his UA career.

After graduating from the UA, Cecil played in the NFL for six years and then coached in the league from 2001-2016.
