Arizona football recruiting: 3-star linebacker Anthony Pandy verbally commits to Wildcats
Another great defensive piece added to this class
The Arizona Wildcats got some much-needed good news on Tuesday night. Narbonne High School (Harbor City, CA) 3-star linebacker Anthony Pandy shut down his recruitment and committed to Arizona.
At 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, Pandy is a nice pickup. He has the skills to compete for playing time right away.
First off I want to thank god for his blessings and this opportunity. I'm committed to the University of Arizona! Bear Down http://pic.twitter.com/2R1RNkVn60

Pandy visited Tucson two weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
“It went great,” Pandy said about his visit. “Everything stood out to me. There’s just positivity everywhere.”
“Talking one-on-one with Coach (Marcel) Yates,” he stated about what stood out to him. “(Also) going to Coach (Rich) Rodriguez’s house and the speech he gave only to the recruits.”
Pandy visited Boise State last weekend and was thinking about visiting Oregon this upcoming weekend. Oregon was considered the favorite for his commitment if they offered, however that did not happen.
Pandy finished his senior season with the Gauchos with 125 tackles, 22.0 TFL, 11.0 sacks, 2 INT, 10 PBU, 3 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.
