Sonoran Hot Reads: Brandon Dawkins with 4th-best individual performance in Pac-12
One of the best performances against the conference’s best team
Looking back on the Arizona Wildcats’ 2016 season, the fact that they took the College Football Playoff-bound Washington Huskies to overtime seems nothing short of a small miracle. Well, a lot of it had to do with the game that Brandon Dawkins had in just his third career start. Pro Football Focus called that performance the 4th-best individual performance in the entire conference this year. Kalen Ballage’s 8 TD game, Adoree’ Jackson vs. Notre Dame, and Hunter Dimick’s five sack night vs. ASU were the only individual games that were rated better
- Perhaps Dawkins will be able to channel that into more great performances after Anu Solomon announced that he will transfer
- At least Arizona’s commentators aren’t giving away secrets like Wake Forest’s are. You need to check out Blogger So Dear for their complete coverage of it
- Also happening in that area of the country, Clemson is adding a slide to their football facility. So this is what Arizona needs to be an elite program
- Sione Taufahema signed with the Wildcats on Wednesday, but Matt Leo and Delshawn Phillips decommitted and signed elsewhere. Phillips picked Illinois. Leo picked Iowa State
