Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona three point underdogs to ASU

You gonna put some money down on the Wildcats?

Both the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils aren’t particularly good at football this year (second worst T-Cup combined record since 1958), so it’s not a huge surprise that the betting line is fairly close. In this roundup of all the Rivalry Week lines, Arizona is a 3-point underdog at home for Friday night. - Is Rich Rodriguez worried about his job security? Not really

- You should check out Kaelen Jones’ Arizona preview. He does a really good job with everything ASU football

- Santa Clara’s Jared Brownridge scored 32 points against Sacred Heart on Monday

Baseball

Other sports

- Women’s basketball set an attendance record on school day, but lost to North Texas by four points. That was North Texas’ first win of the year

Tucson news

- The Roadrunners returned to the ice for practice on Tuesday, and had a strip-shootout and 11-on-11 scrimmage. Here’s what head coach Mark Lamb said about the team’s current situation

- I’ll be heading to Flagstaff for Thanksgiving, and if you’re doing the same, Snowbowl got some fresh powder this week

- Twenty more bighorns were released into the Catalinas on Tuesday. Also, the wildlife crossing along Oracle has become an instant success

- There was a stabbing at the JCPenney at Irvington and I-19

- Naughton’s has filed for bankruptcy
