Arizona basketball: Highlights from the Wildcats’ big win over Sacred Heart
It was a dunk fest for a little while
The Arizona Wildcats were never really challenged on Friday night by the Sacred Heart Pioneers, which allowed the team to feel more free on the offensive end.
This, of course, led to dunk after dunk after dunk in the first half.
Kobi Simmons really got the dunkfest started, coasting down the court for back-to-back breakaway finishes, the first in his college career, right in front of ZonaZoo. But this oop from Simmons to Keanu Pinder after those two was just nasty.

That wasn’t the only ridiculous thing Pinder did on the night. This block may or may not have ended up back in his home country of Australia.

There were also more alley oops, but this one is fun for a couple reasons. One, it’s an out of bounds play, which is always good. But two, that’s walk-on Tyler Trillo with the feed to Chance Comanche. This was literally the first second that Trillo had played in a regular season game for Arizona, so he had an assist before even being on the court.

Lauri Markkanen is pretty good at everything, but who knew that Allonzo Trier could celebrate a threeball before it even goes through the basket.

You want a Markkanen spin move too? Ok. No problem.

Lauri also started this play by hitting the floor in a 30-point game, because of course he did. He may end up being the greatest player we’ve ever seen at Arizona.
Perfect, hustling, unselfish team basketball. It's beautiful.

For Parker Jackson-Cartwright, the highlight of the night was when the pep band busted out Simon Says.

Check out the full highlight video here. That was a fun night of basketball though.
