USC vs. Arizona: Wildcats unveil uniform combination for game against the Trojans

Arizona won the last time it wore this uniform combo

The Arizona Wildcats (2-4 overall, 0-3 Pac-12) will look to snap a three-game losing streak Saturday when they host the USC Trojans (3-3, 2-2) and, in an attempt to get back to winning ways, they’re going to wear a uniform combination in which they wore in a win last season.

Against USC, the Wildcats will be wearing white helmets, blue jerseys, and blue pants, as you can see from the announcement below, courtesy of safety Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and defensive lineman Sani Fuimaono:

Arizona blew out Oregon State 44-7 last season while sporting these uniforms, and is 2-1 all-time when wearing them.

In the video, Fuimaono says fans going to the game should wear blue too.

Each of the last nine UA-USC games have been decided by eight points or fewer, so maybe the uniforms can give Arizona the extra edge it needs (sarcasm intended).

The Wildcats are 1-3 against USC since Rich Rodriguez took over as head coach, including a 39-36 win in 2012. However, the Trojans have won all three match-ups since then.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game between the two schools is set for 12:30 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
