Sonoran Hot Reads: ASU makes video board one foot bigger than Arizona’s
This is rivalry status to the max
We all know that petty little things happen between rivals every now and then, but this one may top them all. The video board that was installed in the south endzone of Arizona Stadium is pretty large; 47’ x 112’ to be exact. That makes it the 58th-largest video board in the world according to Wikipedia...for now. ASU, in the middle of a Sun Devil Stadium renovation project, will be adding a large video board next year. How big? Exactly one foot wider and bigger than the one in Arizona Stadium. The Sun Devils are putting in a 48’ x 113’ board next year as part of many improvements coming to SDS. If you think that’s an accident, well, I’m not sure what to tell you
