Sonoran Hot Reads: Arizona recruiting 2017 combo guard Daejon Davis
A new name to keep an eye on down the road
A long-time Washington commit, Daejon Davis recently re-opened his recruitment (April 15th to be exact). Davis talked to Scout's Josh Gershon about his decision to decommit from UW, and what it meant for him going forward. When asked what other schools were recruiting him now, Arizona was the first word out of his mouth. Just another guy to keep an eye on as we start to look towards the 2017 class
- Scout also caught up with top 2018 prospect Marvin Bagley to check in on his recruiting process and his return to the basketball court

Baseball
- Cameron Ming got a phone call in the afternoon saying that he was the starting pitcher Saturday, and then he went out and threw a career-high seven innings to earn his first win and clinch the Stanford series

Softball
- The softball team also clinched their series against Stanford by allowing just one run. The win moved Mike Candrea into second on the all-time NCAA wins list
