Arizona football: Will Parks capturing the attention of NFL

Will Parks seems to be a diamond in the rough for many NFL teams

After the Arizona Wildcats' Pro Day back on March 23rd, Will Parks was confident that he would be drafted based on the feedback he received. Now, it seems as if he is one of the hottest commodities league-wide, making a rise up many draft boards.

We're under two weeks away from draft day, where he'll be back home with his family hoping to hear his name called at some point throughout the three-day experience. Whether he's looked at as a fifth rounder or seventh rounder, it's unclear. But it's pretty evident there's no way he doesn't get drafted, as he was told during Arizona Pro Day.

It's great to see that a lot of organizations who have a plan in place and know how to draft extremely well are the teams looking into him. If he can land in the right spot and find a home as a rotational guy to begin his career, he could have himself a long career in the NFL. He has a lot of versatility, able to play both free safety and nickel corner.

The NFL is starting to adapt on defense, needing more versatility than ever. We're especially going to see this with Paul Magloire a year from now. Parks, who measured in at 6-foot-0, 200 lbs, ran a 4.63 40 at Pro Day, put up 21 reps of 225lbs on the bench and posted a vertical jump of 31.5 inches.

Here's a timeline of Will Parks' travel schedule. His first visit was just after Pro Day with the Cleveland Browns, and it's been reported that he's also met with the San Diego Chargers.
