The Pac-12 continues its stranglehold on the "almost in the top 25" group, as USC, Oregon, UCLA, Cal, Washington and Utah are all knocking on the door. Even Oregon State has a vote in the AP Poll.
Arizona didn't fall nearly as far as I thought they would, but not based on just the two losses, but the news that Allonzo Trier will be out for at least the next month with a broken shooting hand. According to College Poll Tracker, Arizona is still on every AP ballot, anywhere between 12th and 25th.
Around the rest of the country, Kansas and Oklahoma are still 1-2, as it should be after that great game in Lawrence last Monday. The two play again in Norman on February 13th.
A lot of top teams lost last week, which also helps explain why Arizona didn't fall too far. It's going to be an interesting year in college basketball, as it feels like there really isn't a team or group of teams that stands out above the rest.
