What to Watch
Northwestern State comes to Tucson sporting an 0-3 record on the young season. The Demons like to shoot the three ball. In their game against Ole Miss, they had 30 attempts from beyond the arc. To compare that, Arizona had 21 3-point attempts against Boise State. Zeek Woodley leads the Demons in scoring, averaging just over 28 points a game in this young season. He did pour in a season-high of 39 against LSU-Alexandria on Monday. Right behind him is Jalan West, averaging 25 points a game.
The Demons are allowing just under 90 points a game, which the Wildcats will look to take advantage of after putting up an impressive 88 against a good Boise State team.
Against Boise State, Arizona surprisingly struggled on defense. After a couple days of practice, it will be interesting to watch if Sean Miller fixed the problem.
After a career-high in points for Gabe York and Parker Jackson-Cartwright, look for them to keep the momentum.
Arizona has a chance to get to the all-elusive 100 point mark on Sunday night. This game shouldn't be a problem for the 'Cats as they prepare for this week's Wooden Legacy Tournament in Southern California.
