Tucson NCAA Bowl Game known as Nova Home Loans Bowl

Will you be able to watch it on TV though?

The status of Tucson's bowl game has been up in the air, but after striking a naming rights deal with Nova Home Loans, the game between the Mountain West and Conference USA is set for December 29th. If the naming rights deal had not been locked down, this bowl game would not have been played this year.

The Nova Home Loans Bowl is the 41st in the FBS this year, which means 80 teams are going to make a bowl game. 80.

As of right now, the game will be streamed on Campus Insiders, but it has not locked down a TV broadcast deal. When the game was originally approved, it seemed that CBS Sports Network was the way they were leaning. As we found out the hard way during the Nevada game, CBSSN is not a good option for any sports broadcast, as they do not have a streaming option online. At least Campus Insiders has that option for people looking for this game.

To go along with the rest of the "meh" of this game, here is a meh logo:

If one of the conferences can not fill their bowl allocation, the Sun Belt will be a replacement. So, UTEP/NMSU please.

I'm not a huge fan of the bowl system, and a game like this is exactly why it's not very good. How many people are going to travel to Tucson from a MW or CUSA school to Tucson for this? How full will Arizona Stadium be? They can't even sell out Arizona Wildcats games. It'll be interesting to see how this goes.
