Arizona football injury report: Anu Solomon, Derrick Turituri questionable vs. Stanford

More important injuries for the Wildcats

After having a lot of players on last week's injury report, the Arizona Wildcats have gotten a bit healthier, but not at key positions.

Here's a look at the official injury report before the team heads to Palo Alto to take on the Stanford Cardinal:

Probable: None

Questionable: Anu Solomon (concussion), Derrick Turituri (hip)

Doubtful: None

Out: Scooby Wright III (foot), Trey Griffey (foot), Tyrell Johnson (foot), Haden Gregory (knee)

Last week, three players were listed as questionable, and they all played (Cayleb Jones, Samajie Grant and Scooby Wright). It may have been because of the attention paid to the game, but that definitely hasn't been the trend under Rich Rodriguez.

With that said, Solomon was not at practice on Tuesday evening. Some combination of Jerrard Randall and Brandon Dawkins are prepared to take over behind center if Anu can't go against Stanford.

It's never good when your two best linebackers are on here, but that's what Arizona faces. Turituri has not been healthy all year, but this is the first time he's actually shown up as questionable on the injury report, which is not a good turn of events for him. With Scooby out, Turituri is the best linebacker remaining, and would be good at MLB, but not while injured.

Griffey and Johnson were originally explained as foot sprains at the beginning of the year. They have now been out of action for over six weeks. Something else happened there. Griffey was still in a boot at practice on Tuesday.

You want to know how bad Arizona's injury situation is? The backup long snapper and kicker were both non-participants on Tuesday as well.
