Sonoran Hot Reads: UCLA vs. Arizona previews galore

Getting ready for the big day

Saturday is finally here, and campus has been buzzing since the GameDay bus rolled onto the mall earlier this week.

There's plenty of stuff to know before the game starts, so here are some important things you should focus on:

- Scooby Wright III is likely to play for Arizona, according to Kirk Herbstreit and several other reporters. This, of course, is hugely important news for the Wildcats

- Our counterparts over at Bruins Nation have their weekly guesses, and also explore the coaching staff's continuity and how that benefits the Wildcats. They also gave us the UCLA perspective on the game

- This game will have College Football Playoff implications, but don't forget about the North too

- Think this is fairly obvious, but here are Desmond Howard and David Pollack telling us that the running game will determine the winner

- Did you know every Pac-12 team has a winning record?

- We were at this College GameDay crew availability, where they explain why Tucson is a great place to have GameDay

- The line has dropped to -3 for UCLA

- Arizona's weird defense might be enough to fluster Josh Rosen

- Anthony Gimino says UCLA will win 35-31. Of course, I was the only one on our staff that has Arizona winning. This advanced stats preview by Roll Bama Roll also has UCLA winning and covering

Other sports

- Women's soccer continues to impress, taking down No. 21 Washington 1-0

GymCat Friday features Skyler Sheppard

- Margo Geer is one of nine finalists for NCAA Woman of the Year

- Women's golf starts their season on Sunday in Orlando. Men's golf is in 15th place after their first round

- Men's tennis went 13-3 on Friday

Tucson news

- Ann Weaver Hart is getting a nice bonus.

- That's it. It's Game Day! Let's go!!
