AZDS Tuesday Twitterbag: Arizona offensive lineman Jacob Alsadek answers your questions

A special guest for this week's Twitterbag!

We're always trying to do new and different things for you guys here, so this week's Tuesday Twitterbag has a special guest question answerer.

That guest is redshirt sophomore offensive guard Jacob Alsadek. Alsadek is probably the most interesting dude on the offensive line, and always gives great answers to stuff, so he was the obvious choice to do one of these with.

Anyways, you guys had a few questions for him, and he gave typically awesome Jacob Alsadek answers....let's go!

@azdesertswarm what does the OL do to bond. Who's the weird guy. Impact new guy other than himself. DL that's the biggest load.

What does the O-line do to bond?: Obviously we're probably one of the tightest groups, because there's five of us, and we all love to eat, so I took the freshman two times to little buffets around town, stuff like that. Just show 'em good places to eat, because they don't have cars, and sometimes the on-campus food gets a little sick, but obviously we're just gonna eat together. Watch movies and eat. Grill steaks, stuff like that. As long as there's food involved, we'll all be there. That's one of the biggest things to do.

Most difficult guy to block?: I don't know, they're all pretty tough. It depends. They're all really good, and that's what makes us better too, is we have to figure out ways to work the technique and work being aggressive. Obviously Reggie (Gilbert)'s a great player, he's a fifth-year senior now. Luca Bruno's doing really well. He's a big body. Parker Zellers gets so low and even for how little he is, he plays with better leverage than any of the other guys anyways. There's some plays he'll be down at my waist and I don't know how he got there. But he's a good player. All the guys are good. Sani (Fuimaono), Anthony Fotu. They're all really good players.

The freshman that stands out so far?: (No hesitation from Jacob) Cody Creason. He's done a really good job. He plays hard, and I like that. I like guys that play hard. It's cool because it shows that you want to be here and shows that you want to work. I think he's done a really good job, and he's competitive too. Even on pass rush, he rarely ever loses. He's always working hard. All the freshman this year have done a way better job than when I was a freshman, and learning the plays. They all know the plays really well. When I was first year, I didn't know what I was doing, but I think the program's evolved, and that helped them get to a higher point too because they can work with the coaches during the summer for the skill-development period or whatever you want to call it. So I think that helps too. They've all really impressed me compared to when I was a freshman, but definitely Cody Creason's done a really good job.

@azdesertswarm What's the most difficult part of working with multiple guys at center?

Sometimes, some of them will play different. Like some, you really have to tell them to switch off a block, or some aren't as smart, or some aren't as vocal, or some you can't hear as well. So I think it's different, but it doesn't make that big of a difference where you're like 'Oh I hate playing next to him' or 'It's not as good' or something like that. It's not like that. A lot of people think that it's like a quarterback's cadence. A different quarterback it's a different cadence, but it's the same. It's all the same I think.
