Salpointe star Logan Cole commits to Arizona softball

Salpointe Catholic’s Logan Cole has committed to Arizona softball, it was announced Tuesday on Twitter.

According to MaxPreps, the 2022 prospect has hit .540 in 40 career games with the Lancers, with a homer, 10 doubles, three triples and 27 RBI. She’s also stolen 14 bases.

Cole is listed as a shortstop and won a state championship with Salpointe in 2019.

Assuming nothing changes before the 2022-23 season, Cole will join Izzy Pacho, Devyn Netz, Allie Skaggs and Carli Scupin as Wildcats with Tucson ties.
