The Arizona Wildcats have been on a recruiting roll lately, landing seven recruits since May. They might be getting close to adding another one as three-star receiver Deamikkio Nathan listed them in his top 8 on Tuesday.

The other finalists are Utah, Boise State, Texas Tech, BYU, San Diego State, Houston and Tulane.

Listed at 6-feet, 185 pounds, Nathan attends South Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas. He is the No. 1,602 player and No. 152 wide receiver in the 2021 class, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Arizona has seven 2021 commits and three are from Texas like Nathan.

“Well-built young receiver who looks and plays bigger than listed size,” reads his 247Sports scouting report: “Not overly long but owns enough frame space to add more good mass. Shows good quickness off the line, especially with a free release. Flashes ability to get on top of DB’s quickly. Good run-after-catch ability. Athleticism has not been verified in a combine setting. Needs to improve consistency with hands-catching and high-pointing abilities. Power 5-caliber receiver who’s just starting to come into his own.”

In 2019, Nathan caught 47 passes for 582 yards and four touchdowns. Here are his 2018 highlights:
