The Arizona Wildcats announced Wednesday that they support the Pac-12 and NCAA’s decision to limit fan attendance amidst the coronavirus pandemic, therefore fans will not be able to attend UA sporting events until further notice.
The athletic department says it is working to enact refund policies for fans and staffing policies for those affected by the new restrictions. Of note, Arizona softball and baseball both open Pac-12 play at home against Oregon State this weekend.
A statement released late Wednesday says “Arizona Athletics will also continue to monitor coronavirus (COVID-19) updates from our campus partners as well as government agencies including the Center for Disease Control, Arizona Department of Health Service Services and Pima County Health.”

The NCAA already announced that the men’s and women’s NCAA Tournaments will go on without fans (that obviously is super unfortunate for the UA women who were on track to host), while the Pac-12 Tournament is doing the same starting Thursday.
