Arizona drops to 24th in AP Top 25 after losing to St. John’s

NCAA Basketball: St. John at Arizona Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Wildcats are still ranked after their loss to St. John’s. Barely.

The Wildcats dropped eight spots, from 16th to 24th, in the latest AP poll. It’s their lowest ranking since they opened the season at No. 21.

Losers of three of its last four, Arizona is off till its Pac-12 opener vs. ASU on Jan. 4 and there is no guarantee it will be ranked when it returns to the court, as a new version of the AP poll will be released on Dec. 30.

As far as how the Wildcats stand in other rankings, they are No. 14 in KenPom and No. 19 in NET.
