Arizona rises to 19th in latest AP Top 25

NCAA Basketball: Illinois at Arizona Jacob Snow-USA TODAY Sports

Moved up two spots

The Arizona Wildcats moved up from 21st to 19th in the latest AP Poll after blowing out Northern Arizona and Illinois in the first week of the season.

They are one of four Pac-12 teams inside the Top 25. The others are the Oregon Ducks (14), Washington Huskies (20), and the Colorado Buffaloes (25), who make an appearance after beating the Arizona State Sun Devils in China.

ASU is the only Pac-12 team that has lost so far, so it has been a pretty strong start to the season for the Conference of Champions.

This is the first time the Pac-12 has had four teams ranked in the AP Top 25 since January 2017.
