Arizona to wear Desert Swarm throwback uniforms for homecoming game vs. Oregon State
The Arizona Wildcats announced that they will be wearing Desert Swarm era throwback uniforms for the homecoming game on Nov. 2 against Oregon State.
It’s the first time Arizona has worn throwback uniforms. The Desert Swarm era—the 1990s—was characterized by tough defenses, featuring feared players like Tedy Bruschi and Rob Waldrop.
The 1998 team went 12-1 on its way to a win in the Holiday Bowl, unquestionably the best season in program history. The 1993 team went 10-2 and won the Fiesta Bowl, the program’s first-ever double-digit win season.
