Marcus Bagley, younger brother of Marvin Bagley III, has Arizona in Top 3

Marcus Bagley, the younger brother of Sacramento Kings forward and former Duke star Marvin Bagley III, listed the Arizona Wildcats in his top three on Saturday.

The four-star forward, listed at 6-foot-8, 220 pounds, is the No. 50 player in the 2020 recruiting class, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

His other finalists are Arizona State and Cal. He also had offers from Florida State and Pittsburgh.

“Versatile scoring wing with size to play multiple perimeter positions,” reads his 247Sports scouting report. “Best asset is pure scoring ability. Can efficiently score from all three levels. Most comfortable with ball in his hands and can score pulling up or attacking basket. Strong handle for position. Has physical tools to be a plus rebounder. No physical limitations defensively although consistency and effort could improve there. Has shown significant strides throughout high school career. Should be good scorer in college with NBA upside if efficiency continues to improve.”

Unlike Marvin, who went to high school in the Phoenix area, Bagley attends Sheldon High School in Sacramento, California.

Marvin was a consensus All-American at Duke and the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
