How to watch Arizona host Auburn in the Tucson Regional Championship
A team will be moving on to the NCAA Softball Tournament’s Super Regional round on Sunday, but who will it be?
Will it be the host Arizona Wildcats, the No. 6 seed that has won both their games so far, or can the Auburn Tigers pull the upset (or two, rather, since they would need to beat Arizona twice to advance)?
We’ll find out starting at 4 p.m. PT when Arizona and Auburn meet in the first or potentially two games at Hillenbrand Stadium to decide the Tucson Regional champion.
Arizona (44-12) got to the final with a 5-1 win over the Harvard Crimson on Friday and a 2-1 victory over Auburn on Saturday. The Tigers (39-20) were knocked to the loser’s bracket after that defeat to the Wildcats but rebounded with an 8-0 win over the Colorado State Rams on Saturday night in an elimination game.
Arizona, which is seeking its first Women’s College World Series appearance since 2010, has made at least the Super Regional round ever year since 2014.
As of now, neither of Sunday’s games will be on TV but that is subject to change. They will be live streamed on WatchESPN.com.
